Car cranks but doesn't start. It will start sometime and just cranks and wont turn over other times. Cpu reader said it the ignition but I cant spend to much money on this car. This condition may be the result of either no fuel or no spark -- or both. A rotating engine that will not start is mostly likely not receiving fuel and or spark at the point of ignition -- in the cylinders. Possible causes of this are --No Fuel At the Point of Ignition - If the gas tank is empty, the engine may crank but not get the car started. Faulty fuel pump or relay: Gas acts like a coolant for the fuel pump in your car, so if you run low, the pump will intake some air, which will create heat, causing the fuel pump to wear.
Hello. On Putting in the key and trying to start the car, it comes up with a spanner wrench flashing(The engine does not crank). After repeated attempts, the car would start and this issue was random. Now the car would not start at all. I have a picture of the dash when this happens which I am ready to provide.
